Working with FLV

Just a quick post to share a neat online video conversion tool I came across today. vixy.net allows you to enter the URL of an online FLV video (think YouTube) and it will automatically download and convert it to one of five file types (MOV, AVI, MP4, 3GP, or MP3) which can then be saved to your computer. The tool is fast, works great, and succeeded in getting around the filters the school district has in place.
HeyWatch.com. He shares the following:
HeyWatch allowed me to upload my files, convert them into WMV and download them.
It appears to have other neat features as well. You can grab videos from
Grab videos from the usual online video services and encode them for a variety of formats, including WII, etc. Worth checking out!
